My business operates with honesty and integrity.

The owner/owners live in Madison County, Ky, or in a county touching Madison County (Jackson, Estill, Clark, Fayette, Jessamine, Garrard, Rockcastle).

My business pays all of its own marketing, rent, and other business expenses (without assistance from a corporate headquarters outside the 8 county area.

My business can make independent decisions regarding its name and look, as well as all business practices, purchasing, and distribution.

My business is registered in Kentucky, with no corporate or national headquarters outside of the 8 county area.

My business operates on the premise that survival of the community is equally important to survival of the business.

My business is dedicated to the support and promotion of local Berea businesses.
